Our Mission

Our Mission
St. Francis Xavier School is centered and founded on Jesus Christ. As Catholics, we believe that all things true, good, and beautiful reflect the glory of Christ, the Word Incarnate. Our classical Catholic education instills virtuous habits of thought and action that free students to love and seek Christ in everything. By encountering Divine Truth, revealed throughout the ages, our students become disciples who follow their vocation by a joyful life of sacrificial love towards God and neighbor.
Centered and founded on Jesus Christ...
We affirm our Catholic school's ultimate purpose as Pope Benedict Emertius explained in his 2008 Message to Catholic Educators " First and foremost every Catholic educational institution is a place to encounter the living God who in Jesus Christ reveals his transforming love and truth"
As Catholics, we believe that all things true, good, and beautiful reflect the glory of Christ, the Word Incarnate.
St. John's proclamation "In the beginning was the Word...and the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us" inspires us that Christ is the ultimate Truth found in all studies.
Our classical Catholic education instills virtuous habits of thought and action that free students to love and seek Christ in everything.
Every activity at our school is chosen to grow moral and intellectual virtue. As the Catechism teaches, "Human virtues are firm attitudes, stable dispositions, habitual perfections of intellect and will that govern our actions, order our passions, and guide our conduct according to reason and faith. They make possible ease, self-mastery, and joy in leading a morally good life. The virtuous man is he who freely practices the good.
By encountering Divine Truth, revealed throughout the ages, our students become disciples who follow their vocation by a joyful life of sacrificial love towards God and neighbor.
The ultimate goal of our education is an encounter with Truth in the person of Jesus Christ that leads to a life modeled after Him.
